I have this thing for red calipers &#8211; my last 3 cars all had red calipers &#8211; so I ordered a complete front and rear set of <strong>R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted<\/strong> brake rotors. The Rustoleum kit includes a can of paint, one spray can of caliper cleaner, a small brush and a small roll of masking tape. The first thing I did was remove any signs of dirt or rust on the visible part of the hubs with my Dremel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_371\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-371\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-371\" src=\"https:\/\/projectkeira.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/raine_ft_rotor3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.projectkeira.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/raine_ft_rotor3.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.projectkeira.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/raine_ft_rotor3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.projectkeira.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/raine_ft_rotor3-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-371\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A few minutes with a Dremel cleaned and polished the hubs nicely.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With all four hubs clean, it was time to paint. I started with the rear half of each caliper, painting on a thin coat of caliper paint on one, then rotating around the truck to paint the other calipers. Next came the brake caliper mounting brackets; since the rotors had to be in place before the brackets, it was time to put the R1 rotors on.
